Ellen is passionate about peaceful parenting, moving away from over scheduling and into slower paced open-ended creative learning at home as a pathway towards peace, connection, and growth for families.
Ellen and her husband Michael share a deep love for education, enrichment, and creative experiences in all areas of life.
They also like to keep things less scheduled than more, and moving in rhythm to what’s present rather than what’s been (over) planned. They learned to embrace the chaos and homeschooled their two kids between 2019 and 2023 and continue to create in-home creativity and exploration while their kids now attend in-person school. While Michael might show up in a podcast episode or two for support, Ellen loves to help families move from overwhelm to connected and to share ideas for creating more space, breath and mindfulness in parenting to reduce the stress and pressure of “everything” we’re “supposed” to be doing, by teaching simple strategies to foster creativity, exploration, and a life-long love of learning. You’ll benefit from Ellen’s background as a coach, facilitator and educator and come away with tips to implement at home, today.
