Ellen is passionate about open-ended and creative learning at home as a pathway towards connection, exploration, and growth for families.

Ellen and her husband Michael share a deep love for education, enrichment, and creative experiences in all areas of life.

They homeschooled their two kids between 2019 and 2023 and continue to foster in-home creativity and exploration even though their kids now attend an in-person school. While Michael might show up in a podcast episode or two for support, Ellen loves to help families move from overwhelm to connected and to share ideas for creating structured home spaces conducive to creativity and exploration. She believes powerfully in supporting child-led curiosity to develop their passion for life-long learning. She is particularly passionate about supporting families whose kids experience differences, from gifted and talented or 2E (twice exceptional), to the unique ways that children can show up that require unique approaches, patience and understanding.
